Mail a stamp to a friend and watch an owl fly it to their door. Not an animation on a loop — a real flight, in real time.

Your memories stay yours.
Kitte runs no servers of its own. Your stamps live on your device, and sync — if you turn it on — goes to your own private iCloud database, which we cannot read.
Camera
Kitte uses the camera to capture moments and turn them into stamps.
Location
Kitte tags your stamps with where they were captured. Location never leaves your device.
Photos
Kitte saves your finished stamps and share cards to your photo library.
Owl Post is the one feature that reaches the network: claiming a handle publishes it, your display name and an optional home city to a shared directory so friends can find you. Leaving the location blank keeps it private — flights still work.

What do I need to run Kitte?
An iPhone or iPad running iOS 26.2 or later. Kitte uses the newest system frameworks — including the Liquid Glass tab bar — so there is no older-OS version.
Does Kitte work offline?
Capturing, collecting, arranging boards and browsing the map and calendar all work with no connection — place names are resolved on-device. Owl Post deliveries and iCloud sync need the network, and will catch up when you are back online.
Do I need an account?
Not to use Kitte. Capture, collection, calendar, map and boards need no sign-in at all. Owl Post is the exception: to receive stamps from friends in-app you claim a handle, which needs iCloud. You can skip it and still send stamps as files.
How does Owl Post actually work?
You pick a stamp, a message and an owl. Kitte computes the great-circle distance to your friend and divides it by that owl’s real cruise speed, so the flight takes as long as the journey deserves. You can watch it on the globe, and they get a notification the moment it lands.
What happens to my stamps if I stop paying for Pro?
Nothing is deleted. Your collection stays on your device and everything you already made stays readable. You keep the stamps you have past the free limit — you just cannot add new ones beyond it, and iCloud sync stops until you resubscribe.
Can I get my stamps out of Kitte?
Yes. Save any stamp or board to your photo library, export a board as a PDF, or share a stamp as a .kittepost file. Nothing is locked in.
Is my location shared with anyone?
No. Stamps are geotagged and reverse-geocoded entirely on your device. The only location that ever leaves it is the optional home city you can set for Owl Post, which is there so friends’ owls know where to fly — and you can leave it blank.
